Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer, songwriter and bluegrass musician. Born on July 23, 1971. She started in the industry in her early years, as she was just 10 years young. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and made her debut solo album in 1987. The year 1989 saw her invited to be a part of Alison Krauss & Union Station with whom she performs.
