Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback performer as well as a musician. She works predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam language films. Her debut as an actress was the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut with Annayum is in the film. Andrea Jeremiah comes from an Anglo-Indian origin. Her parents were a Madras High Court attorney. She is the younger sibling of the researcher assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah lived in the vicinity of Chennai and attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea, who began the classical piano at eight years old, was called a "geek" and was aspiring to become a psychiatrist until her board exam in 12th grade. She was part of the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped her musical and singing career. While at college she was also performing as a theatre artist in stage plays that were put on by The Madras Players. Then she was an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's career in theatre began with the play of Girishkarnad Nagamandala. The year 2006 saw her starred in a leo commercial with actor Shiva. She was also the part of a character in the Podhigai serial. She has appeared in all parts of India. She performed a very brief role in Kanda Mudhal in 2005, which is the finale. After she rendered a song in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu he asked her to play as the main female character in his next venture Pachaikili Muthucharam. This film was a film adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed. It featured Andrea playing Kalyani a homemaker who's husband is involved in an affair and is blackmailed. Andrea was chosen to play the character in the aftermath of Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. The film was first released in 2010. The film was released in early 2010. perform a tiny part in the multi-starrer film of Venkatprabhu Mankatha and it was premiered in August of 2011. She made her Malayalam film debut with Rajeeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
