Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe came from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was in South London. Her mother is English and her father Nigerian. She grew in a south London community estate, and at the age of fourteen, she attended The Brit School. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was awarded. While at the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions, including King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe launched her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. She has appeared as a guest on Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. In the following year, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she had the opportunity to play the part as Bambi in the ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in episodes two and three. Madekwe was the main character in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy made in the year 2008. The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009, with her drama The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before being ended on The CW. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series of Revenge on ABC for two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she would leave the series after making one guest appearance on the first episode of season three. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star in the role of Tituba in the TV series Salem. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. Her four older brothers were present as well: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletic, played baseball in summers and played hockey in the winter months. Ashley had never been able to walk. She danced. When she reached 2 and a 1/2 and a half, she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley became a dancer since that time. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre as well as pointe until the time she completed high school. She was the top soloist in important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
