Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She moved to California at the age of five. Her family lived mainly in Orange County. Her big break was in 2015 when she earned her a degree from University of California San Diego. Pernas made minor appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage and Leverage, however she got the part in the role of Marisa on The Young and the Restless. News broke on May 20, 2021, that Pernas and Hartley recently tied the knot with a private ceremony.
